ok so you all knew it was coming. First off, big pros to the Boston Celtics who earned the NBA championship with a thrashing of the Los Angeles Lakers in game 6, 131 - 92. Lets start with the winners first.

Celtics, first national championship in the last 22 years and number 17th overall. First one to be hailed, GM Danny Ainge for putting this team together. he knew what he was doing when he did so.

The big three, all played like stars and deserve every last bit of the championship.

Ray Allen can up big with the big dog KG, each to have 26 points on the night with KU's very own Paul Pierce adding 22. However I think that a lot of the tempo was set with Rajon Rondo hard played defense in the first quarter coming away with 4 steals in the first quarter.

OK NOW FOR THE SCOLDING...HOW DEAR YOU COMPARE KOBE BRYANT TO MICHAEL JORDAN. MJ would have never let a whooping like happen. Dude the Lakers got beat by 39 points in an NBA final. 39 points. In an NBA final? OK Ok OK. i honestly will say that he was a good candidate for the MVP but i also do think that it belonged to CP3. Kobe had a good season and finally, to me, understood what team basketball is about. he is a magnificent player and unstoppable at times when he wants to be. But 39 points? that sounds to me as a NO SHOW. Last night was the night that he needed to put up 81 points..........oopps, sorry. i forget they were playing the BOSTON CELTICS. Best defense in the league and playing hard on both sides of the floor.  Too many answers for Dr. Feel Good Phil Jackson.

In all and all, it was a good series with Boston looking to take it home from game one. There's always next year La Lakers. Pre-seasons starts tomorrow. You may need it. New big boys in town and they came from the east....was that biblical...lol
